Heinz and PAAS Easter Eggs Decorating Kits Review

Are you getting ready for Easter yet? I have been slowly acquiring the supplies, candy and gifts we will need this Easter. Unlike the previous years where the only kids at our Easter family celebration were DD and the G man this year, their cousins and other family members will be spending the day with us. Therefore, to make sure I have everything all the kids need, I have been shopping to make sure all of the kids have everything they want and need.

Before Easter arrives, you could start having your kids decorating Easter eggs online. By searching “PAAS/Heinz” in the iTunes App Store and download the app, or access it from your desktop or laptop computer at www.heinzpaaseaster.com, you or your child could decorating Easter eggs and email them to friends and family members. When you decorate and share a virtual Easter egg with family and friends using the free app, Heinz and PAAS will donate $1, up to $25,000, to Make-A-Wish. The entire process is free to you, but it will help generate money for such a great cause. Plus, it is super fun for the kids to do.

In the app, you get to dye the egg virtually, then you could decorate the egg by adding glitter, draw on it with different colors or even put stickers on it. When you are done with the egg, you have the option of emailing the image of the egg to someone. Please see image above for a sample of what I designed.

Once Easter is here, of course, you could then decorating your eggs with Heinz and PAAS and enjoy them with your kids.

We received a basket full of Heinz and PAAS products to try out.

DD opted for simple dye cups, so she used white crayons for her designs on the hard boiled eggs.

Then we placed her eggs in the dye cups. Setting up the dye cups was really easy, I just pour some Heinz vinegar up to the first marking so that the colors will be bright. Then I added the dye tablets. Once the tablets were dissolved, I added water before putting the eggs in. 

DD wanted brighter colors, so we let the eggs sit in the cups while DD took a shower. When she got out of the shower, we took the eggs out.

Here's the eggs DD decorated. She was so excited by this whole process that she told me she could not wait for Easter to arrive so that she could decorate the eggs again with her little brother and cousins.
